My Parijat (Harsringar) Started Flowering on 1st October
I’m excited to share that my beloved Harsringar, also known as Parijat or Night-blooming Jasmine, has finally started flowering on 1st October.
Flowers of Harsingar (Parijat) bloom from October to December, January and February.
But what do you do if your plant isn’t flowering? Don’t worry!
Check some expert tips:
Pruning encourages the plant to grow new shoots, which can increase the number of flowers.
1. Do light pruning before October
Pruning helps new buds develop faster in the plant.
2.
Proper use of fertilizer
For Harsingar it is suggested that you fertilize the plant heavily before or in October.
3. Use of banana peel
Banana peels contain high amounts of potassium, which promotes flowering growth in the plant.
4.
Spray Seaweed Liquid Fertilizer
Seaweed liquid fertilizer spray helps improve plant growth and flower quality. You can spray it on the leaves or add it to the soil.
5.
Give water regularly
After pruning and fertilizing, it is also very important to water the plant regularly.
6.
Take care of sunlight
Harsingar needs sufficient sunlight to produce flowers.
Keep it in a place where it gets 3 to 4 hours of sunlight.
With the proper care of Harsingar (Parijat) you can get fragrant and beautiful flowers in your
plant.
