10 Plants to Protect from          Rain During Monsoon

              1.      Hybrid Vinca

Hybrid Vinca are very sensitive to direct rain water. Avoid keeping in open area during monsoon. Note: You can add rain water to the soil.

              2.       Adenium 

Adenium prefer hot and dry climate. Continuous rain damages their roots. Note: Keep your Adenium indoors during monsoon.

              3.       Portulaca 

Portulaca is a summer plant that thrives in hot, dry conditions. It does not like rainwater.  Note: Keep the plant in a shaded spot to ensure healthy growth.

              4.       Croton

Croton does not like overly wet soil. Avoid keeping it outside in heavy rain as it will get damaged. Note: Keep the croton plant in a shady area.

              5.       Rubber Plant

Rubber plants do not need much water. Rubber plants have small roots and can rot if overwatered. Note: Place your plant in a shady spot to protect it from rain.

Aglaonema is a very beautiful and delicate plant. When it is constantly soaked in rain water, its leaves turn yellow and start falling. Note: Keep Aglaonema indoors during the rainy season.

                      9.              Dieffenbachia               (Dumb Cane)

Dumb cane survives even in less water. Avoid keeping outside in the open during rainy season. Excess water can spoil this plant. Note: During monsoon, keep your plant indoors

                      10.              Succulents       (Echeveria, Crassula))

Succulents don't like too much water. Their leaves already have gel. So, they don't need much water. Note: Keep them away from rainwater.
